The Titanic Challenge is a three-stage cycling event in Gran Canaria, known for its high level of difficulty and its UCI endorsement. It is one of the most extreme competitions on the island, ideal for cyclists looking to push their limits.
This year, the event will take place on April 11th and 12th, 2026.
Agüimes, in the southeast of Gran Canaria, gives the starting shot. A scenario that fuses the technique of the coast of Arinaga with the history of its old town, marking the perfect start for the first stage.
San Mateo takes the baton in this second stage, raising the demand with a high mountain route. From Agüimes to the Vega de San Mateo, cyclists will face an epic challenge where the elevation gain and timed sections will make the difference.
The winner will be the one who completes the three stages with the lowest total time, with prizes for each stage and category. There is also a virtual modality for those who want to participate from home using the Bkool app.
